UTILIZATION OF THE WASTE SLUDGE OF THE AMMONIUM NITRATE PRODUCTION - article

With the purpose of improvement of the processes of dissolution of a magnesite in a nitric acid the optimum parameters of the reaction were neat, including a temperature, pH and correlation of HNO₃ : magnesite, at which a more high degree of extraction from the magnesia solution both MgO and Fe₂O₃, Al₂O₃ and SiO₂, which are suitable for the further use, is attained.

A treatment of magnesia powder by the offered method diminishes the wastes of production process, that is instrumental in prevention of contamination of the territory of the enterprise by a dump slag.
