Тhe main legitimacies of the metabolism of substances in the human organism are presented. Underlined is the importance of the knowledge of these legitimacies for doctors-toxicologists for carrying out detoxicationof an organism during poisonings and for the treatment.

The knowledge of legitimacies of a biotransformation of toxic substances, including medicines, is necessary also for chemists-toxicologists for detection of metabolites in fluids and tissues of an organism at express-diagnostics of acute poisonings and at carrying out of judicial expertises.
