Publication ethics and publication malpractice statement

The editorial policy of the “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva” is based on the International Ethics Guidelines for Scientific Publications, the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) https://publicationethics.org/ and the Publishing Ethics Resource Kit (PERK) https://www.elsevier.com/editors/perk, which promotes the proper and impartial review of manuscripts, the prevention of plagiarism, the observance of the rules of ethics of scientific publications, the protection and protection of copyright.
The editorial board reviews each manuscript submitted to the journal for its intellectual content, importance, originality, clarity and relevance, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality or political philosophy of the author / author.
The editorial board of the journal is responsible for accepting the manuscript, reviewing the submitted documents, sending for review, agreeing with the author / authors of the manuscript on editing and amending, adopting the manuscript for printing or refusing to publish.
The editorial board of the “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva” includes scholars who are specialists in the topics of the journal.

Editorial Ethics

The editorial board, headed by the editor-in-chief, is responsible for publishing the journal.
The Editor-in-Chief is guided by the following provisions:

  • Guided by Ukrainian law, national and international publishing standards and rules, policy of the journal.
  • Appoints deputy editor-in-chief, executive editor, other employees involved in the processing of materials and organizes their work.
  • Conduct a policy of preventing and managing editorial conflicts. Requires all participants in the publishing process to disclose competing interests.
  • Rejects and instructs the deputy editor-in-chief or other member of the editorial board to replace himself when reviewing a manuscript in which he has a conflict of interest as a result of a collaboration, competitive or other relationship, connection with the author or organization.
  • Makes the final decision on the publication of the manuscript in the journal based on the results of reviewing and with the consent of the editorial board.
  • Considers all claims or complaints against manuscripts, publications and takes necessary steps to resolve problems

The editorial board of the  “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva” is guided by the following provisions:

  • Provides an assessment of each manuscript for its importance, novelty, originality, clarity, relevance, content, compliance with the purpose and scope of the journal.
  • Checks the manuscript and the documents attached to it to the established requirements.
  • Ensures the confidentiality of the manuscripts’ information, their impartial, timely, confidential review.
  • Agrees with the author / authors of the changes to the manuscript on the basis of the editing results and corrections.
  • Together with the editor-in-chief, decides on the recommendation of the manuscript for publication or the refusal of its publication, which informs the author / authors.
  • Considers all claims or complaints against manuscripts, publications and takes necessary steps to resolve problems

Authors and scope of responsibility

The authorship of the manuscript, sent for publication, should be limited to those authors who took a direct part in the scientific work, made a significant contribution to the development, execution or interpretation of the research results.
The manuscript should contain publications, become the basis for the subject of development, and combine previous scientific experience, confirmed by publications in scientific journals.
Information obtained privately, such as in a conversation, correspondence or discussion with third parties, should not be used without proper scientific confirmation.
Confidential information, as well as that which is intellectual or commercial property, should not be used without the written permission of its owners.
The copyright to the co-authorship manuscript belongs to all co-authors, regardless of whether such a manuscript forms one indissoluble whole or consists of parts, each of which has an independent meaning. Considering this, all co-authors are personally responsible for the text of the manuscript submitted to the journal’s editorial office, sign it, thereby coordinating submissions for publication. If changes were made to the manuscript after reviewing, then the co-authors must also agree on the final version of the manuscript.
The manuscript submitted for publication is drawn up in accordance with the requirements specified in the section “Submission and publication procedure” posted on the website of the  “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva”.
It is forbidden to duplicate the results of the same studies in different publications. If it is necessary to use the results of previous published studies in the manuscript, it is enough to make references to them with an indication in the list of used literature.

Copyright and access to material

A copyrighted article published in a journal is a copyrighted work.
From the date of publication of the article in the journal and in accordance with the "Agreement on the transfer of author's rights to the publisher", the author / authors of the article transfer the right of the journal to use the publication, including the right to allow or prohibit the use of the publication or its part by third parties in any form and by any means.
The journal 's Web site provides free online access to journal content, titles, author / authors, and annotations to the articles.
In print, the magazine is distributed by prepaid agencies, as well as mailing to the editorial office.
Two years after its release, an electronic version of the entire magazine is posted on the website as a free online access.

Privacy Statement

The editorial board may collect and use the personal information of the authors necessary to process the submitted manuscript.
This information includes the names of the authors, their contact details, postal and e-mail addresses, personal, business and fax numbers, correspondence with the authors.
Any personal information obtained through the editorial board is used only for:

  • drafting and publishing the manuscript;
  • administering the journal website;

The editorial board uses all technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of the personal information of the authors.

The review process

Manuscripts submitted to the editorial board of the “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva” are reviewed in accordance with the procedure described in the The quality control system / Reviewing process.
The manuscript received by the reviewer from the editorial board for review is a confidential document.
A reviewer who does not consider himself or herself a specialist in the subject of the manuscript or knows that he or she will not be able to submit a review for the article in a timely manner should refuse to review.
A reviewer cannot be a co-author of a manuscript, and / or an employee of the author / authors, have a conflict of interest with them due to collaboration or other relationships with the authors or organizations where they work.
All judgments and conclusions expressed by the reviewer on the results of the peer review of the manuscript should be objective. If the reviewer suspects plagiarism or falsification of data, he should inform the editorial board of the journal.
The reviewer should not use information and ideas from the manuscript submitted for review for personal profit.

Conflict of interests

Conflicts of interest may be based on the personal interest of reviewers or authors, caused by financial, competitive, collaborative, personal, or other relationships with third-party stakeholders or organizations.
In the event that there is a potential conflict of interest that may affect the direction of the study or the interpretation of the results, the authors should disclose its essence.
Editorial board members and reviewers should refuse to consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.

The founders of the scientific and practical edition of the “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva” are:

  • Centre of quality experimental methods research "Chromatos".

Publication schedule

The Journal “Zurnal Hromatograficnogo tovaristva” is published once a year.
