TO THE INFLUENCE OF A CARRIER GAS NATURE ON THE RESOLVING POWER OF CAPILLARY COLUMNS article

The influence of the nature of carrier-gas on the chromatographic properties of capillary column with OV-1 stationary phase for separation methyl esters and acylated forms of some amino acids was studied. It has been shown that the use of CO2 as a carrier-gas improves the separation of studied amino acids, increases the column efficiency, decreases the analysis time and asymmetry of chromatographic zones.
