THE IMPROVED METHOD OF PROTEINS ACID HYDROLYSIS IN NATURAL SAMPLES AND THE PREPARATION OF HYDROLISATES FOR AMINO ACID ANALYSIS - article

 The process of acid hydrolysis of proteins in natural samples for the following amino-acid determination on amino-acid analyzers was reviewed in detail. The need of knowledge of sample content (protein, carbohydrates, lipid and moisture contents) was emphasized. The issue of determination of the 6N hydrochloric acid volume, needed for protein hydrolysis and antioxidant application in this process was studied. There was proposed the method of acid hydrolysis of proteins using closed flacks within exiccator instead of applying more complicated hydrolysis method using soldered ampoules. The vacuum set for sample eveporation, which may be used instead of rotor vaporizer, was also suggested.
